    A disappointing substitute

Published by Lisa Jommen Daveley on 22nd Jul 2026

I absolutely loved Olivu's shampoo and have used it for years. High prices, no problem, it was worth it. This new stuff is thin, lathers poorly and is aesthetically unappealing. Very disappointed, and I hope a better replacement is found.

Lisa, Thank you for your feedback. As we move forward with our products, we take ingredients into consideration. We try to have as much lather as possible, while staying away from traditional lather ingredients that are unhealthy. We also have experienced supply chain issues with some ingredients that are no longer obtainable economically. We have had a lot of positive feedback on the shampoo and we see it as an upgrade. I understand why you miss the extra lather of our old shampoo. This one lathers, too...just maybe not as much. It is nourishing to the hair and leaves the hair feeling soft. Thank you for your feedback.

    Moisturizing Aloe Shampoo

Published by Sue on 10th Feb 2026

I have used many of the lotions and thought it would be fun to try a shampoo that I could tailor to a scent of my choice. I think my biggest dislike is that it does not suds up at all, which I know some shampoos are designed so they aren't super sudsy but for me it makes it hard to tell if I have the soap distributed through my hair to get everything cleaned. On the upside it does seem to do a good job and it leaves my hair feeling a little thicker than normal. So, while it might not be my 1st choice of shampoos I think it's worth trying.

I like the shampoo but I also need a conditioner. One that matches the shampoo would be ideal
