Bride Skin Care Must–Haves

Glowing skin and looking absolutely perfect walking down the aisle, is what every girl dreams of for her wedding day. But problems like acne, red spots, oil and dry skin can wreak havoc on a bride’s face and make the big day feel unpredictable. But getting the look you’ve always wanted is easier than you may think. The following secrets are sure to help you look stunning from the rehearsal dinner to way after the honeymoon is over.

1. Prepare Long Before the Wedding

There’s no doubt you have a lot on your mind, but smart skincare starts way in advance – like up to a year before you say “I do.” If you don’t have that long, don’t stress (seriously, don’t, that will only make everything worse!) simply adopt the following habits as soon as possible.

2. Schedule Regular Facials

There’s no better excuse to give yourself some extra pampering than preparing for your wedding day. Refresh your skin and deep clean to get all the dirt out of your pores with our Dead Sea Mud Mask, Rhassoul Clay Mask, Rose Ubtan Mask, or Oatmeal and Yogurt Mask. By using these products and giving yourself regular facials you’ll stimulate blood circulation, rejuvenate and soften your skin for a healthy glow.

3. “Shrink” Pores with Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is an excellent way to “polish” your skin and help shrink pores. Our Microdermabrasion Face Wash is made with a fine pumice stone power and Shea butter to give you a refreshing clean. Our Microdermabrasion Kit includes our famous Super Vitamin E Lotion to add additional moisture to keep your skin properly hydrated.

4. Moisturize, Moisturize, and Then Moisturize

Speaking of moisturizing, one of the best ways to keep your skin glowing for your wedding day is to establish a beauty regimen that includes regular hydration with a moisturizer that works well with your skin. A few of our favorites are: Beauty Cream, Whipped Macadamia Nut Lotion, Whipped Emu Lotion, and our Whipped Avocado Lotion. Fun tip: Protect your skin before the wedding and on your tropical honeymoon vacation by adding your favorite SPF to any of these lotions. The end result is useful and protective aromatic sunscreen.

5. Use Salt Scrubs to Soften Elbows

Brides often forget about softening elbows, but it’s an absolute must for looking your best in every photo! While in the bath or shower, brighten and renew your skin with our Sugar Scrub or Cloud Scrub. These scrubs are perfect for a quick exfoliation on elbows, arms, and legs. You can use while shaving or simply rinse and use the oil left behind as a hydrating moisturizer. Massage in a circular motion to help remove dead skin cells and boost circulation.

6. Zap Zits

Waking up to a pimple or zit on Wedding Day can be horrifying for a bride. If that happens, stay calm and use our Zit Zapper. You can banish that blemish faster and reduce redness with this amazing French green clay. It draws out and kills impurities fast while being gentle enough for sensitive skin without irritation.

7. Prep Your Lips

Make your lips kissably soft and prep for a perfect pout, with our Lip Scrub that helps repair dry and cracked lips by removing dead skin cells and keeping them soft and conditioned with almond oil and beeswax. Once lips are smooth, pick your favorite shade of lipstick to complete the look.

Follow these tips for looking fabulous and you’ll enjoy all the memories of a magical wedding day.
